Japan doubled annual shipments of solar cells

Polaris solar PV net news: Japan solar PV Association (JPEA), statistics released by the 11th, Japan “renewable energy special measures Act” on July 1, 2012, on the road, led Japan rapid increase in domestic demand for solar cells.

Japan residential solar cell shipments of domestic demand growth from a year earlier to 66 8,881kW 19%; large-scale solar power generation plants and other non-residential use of solar cells to 210 million increase in domestic shipments 80% 5,266kW, accounted for 75.9%.

The previous year (April 2013 March 2014) Japan total solar cell shipments soared 105% to 862 million 5,377kW. Last year Japan domestic demand of solar cell shipments soared 124% to 854 million 5,732kW, equivalent to 8 shipments of nuclear power plant’s electricity output, and the 6th consecutive year of record annual highs in the history record; export exports plummeted from 70,000 9,645kW 80%.
